Well.....or rather wow! Overcast morning to start and Glos won the toss; what was the Glamorgan skipper thinking off? Mad run-out which set the pattern; accurate bowling, a little swing and the odd uneven bounce and Glamorgan were on the ropes. They returned the favour though; Glos had little answer too. Bowlers dominated. Post tea saw Glamorgan again on the ropes inn their second innings; what would day two bring? Well it was almost normal; their remaining batsmen played solidly and surely, determined to give nothing away then suddenly ended! Glos 150odd to win - on that pitch and two and a half days to get them. Surprise surprise Dent and Bancroft betted as well as I've seen them this summer [which is not to many times this season, sadly]. Great delight at the finish and well deserved win. Cheltenham off to a flyer; but sadly not for the tented patrons. Only a couple of moans - please ground staff get the cars into the car par more rapidly - suggest two lines - one for paying guest tickets and one for car park sticker holders - it causes unnecessary hold ups on the road; and get the lower gate open earlier towards the end of play[/u][/b] [when ever that may be - stay alert!]!!!

Glamorgan part II
Well some untidy bowling; suspect team selection [?] and our prolific batters not performing put paid to the 20/20 @ Bristol. Beautiful evening too - rather spoilt by the result! Why continue to open with Mustard? Bancroft, Dent, Roderick surely all better than Hankins and our new expensive [?] arrival! Comments anyone?

Totally agree! We have had a series of strange team selections in white ball cricket this season. As in the 50 over match against Glamorgan in April Tom Smith was selected but didn't bowl a single ball. His bowling has been a highlight during the past couple of seasons. If you have no intention of bowling him why pick him??
We went in with only three out and out batters, one of which was Hankins. If Klinger was to fall early who is going to build an innings?
Why is Dent not even in the squad?
Reminds me of England a few years back when the team consisted of about 8 all rounders.
Where on earth would we be without Klinger?!? And he's 37!
